Deputy Defense Minister of Iraq contacts Air Chief and praises PAF professionalism

Iraq's deputy defense minister:

 Iraq's deputy defense minister, secretary general Jabbar Thejel Mutlag, paid Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu a visit on Monday and praised the PAF's professionalism as well as Pakistan's efforts to advance regional peace.

Several significant areas of shared interest, improved bilateral ties, and defense cooperation were covered at the discussion, according to a Pakistan Air Force (PAF) news release.

According to the Chief of the Air Staff, there have always been close links between Pakistan and Iraq due to shared religious, cultural, and historical beliefs.

The air chief went on to say that the conventional national security environment had been significantly impacted by the development of space, electronic warfare, cyber, and specialty technologies. According to him, the Pakistan Air Force is entirely focused on the acquisition and development of these technologies through intelligent inductions and the development of human resources for cost-effective operations.

The two dignitaries also decided to strengthen the already-existing connections between the two air forces, notably in the areas of training and operations.
