According to Collider, Black Adam had to undergo four cuts to reduce the level of violence in order to avoid receiving a R classification.
Superhero First Appeared:
The report claims that the creators of Mighty Adam intended to use extra violence to show where the superhero first appeared in comic books. Garcia continued, "We really wanted to make sure that we honoured the character of Black Adam.
Black Adam Movie:
"It simply wouldn't have been realistic to do a Black Adam movie without any of the aggression and brutality for which he is renowned. Therefore, we always entered this endeavour with the intention of pushing it to its limit."
The producer stated, "It took four rounds [with the MPA] and [the movie] just obtained the PG-13, maybe four or five weeks ago.
In response to the question of how many cuts the movie underwent, Flynn said, "We did have to make a lot of editing, actually."
Claims:
The producer claims that Johnson killed numerous individuals viciously in the original version. To receive a PG-13 classification, the production reduced the number of participants to just 5.
Movie's Best Scenes:
Black Adam's involvement in the fly bike pursuit scene and subsequent killing of a gang member are some of the movie's best scenes, according to Flynn.
"The vehicle then rebounds over the body, which is a fantastic moment. But in these movies, those are the moments that you need to appreciate and remember. You must take a risk rather than play it safe. We currently have four or five of those, I believe. We had ten at one point, and we were able to reach an agreement with the MPA on that."
