Fatalities:
A bus that caught fire on the highway close to Nooriabad on Wednesday resulted in at least 10 fatalities, according to the deputy superintendent of police (DSP) Nooriabad.
Flood Victims:
According to the motorway police, the bus was leaving Khairpur Nathan Shah for Karachi with up to 80 flood victims on board. The Mugheri tribe made up the passengers.
The air conditioning unit of the passenger bus Nooriabad caught fire, according to the highway police. "The air conditioner's short circuit may have started the fire."
Most of the passengers were already off the bus when it took fire, although there were apparently some injuries.
